Stephen Gay Memorials are looking for an enthusiastic Business Administration Apprentice to work alongside the company Director assisting with diary management, invoicing, answering phone calls and emails, tracking payments, advert management, ordering supplies, general errands and keeping office clean and tidy.

Stephen Gay Memorials are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Admin Apprentice to join them at their Gravesend location as a PA to the Director.

The successful candidate will be working towards their Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship qualification over the course of 12-18 months.

You will be working closely with the Company Director, supporting a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of daily operations, giving you hands-on industry experience and a foundation to begin building a future career.

Whilst previous administration experience would be beneficial, you will be fully trained on all areas of the role, and we are open to applicants from a range of backgrounds and levels of experience provided they are enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Diary Management: Assisting the Director with scheduling appointments and maintaining their calendar.
Invoicing & Payments: Supporting with sending invoices and ensuring accurate record-keeping of financial transactions.
Phone & Email Communication: Answering phone calls and responding to emails in a professional manner, taking an empathetic approach when speaking with customers and providing accurate information to their queries.
Ordering Supplies: Managing the office supply inventory, ensuring timely ordering and restocking of essential materials.
General Errands & Office Maintenance: Ensuring the office space remains clean, tidy, and organised at all times, and completing additional tasks as required by the Director.

How will the apprenticeship be delivered?

You will be assigned an expert Lifetime Training coach to support you throughout your apprenticeship journey, with regular face to face and virtual catch ups every 4-6 weeks.
A hands-on approach to learning and structured training plan delivered online and at your place of work without the expectation to attend college.
Dedicated time each week to focus on your learning.

The successful applicant must be dedicated to completing their Level 3 Business Administration qualification over a 12-18 month period.

Qualifications required

Core subjects at GCSE at a Grade D or above. You will be expected to complete your Functional Skills in Maths/English if a Grade C or Level 4 or above has not been previously attained.
