Community Activator Coaches promote, deliver and coach fun and engaging activities that help whole communities to change their behaviour, adopting and sticking to a physically active lifestyle.

  • Required to promote your organisation to encourage members of the community e.g. families/groups to become more active?
  • Required to support customers to be regularly active in other settings e.g. sports clubs and leisure facilities?

Who is it for?

For those who coach a range of communities to promote active lifestyles.

Blended delivery

1-1 facilitated learning sessions with Lifetime Learning Coach, face-to-face and remote teaching, and self study via online learning platform - Aptem.

End point assessment

2 hour practical coaching observation, 60 minute presentation followed by a 30 minute Q&A, and Panel interview.

Duration

13 months + end point assessment

Please note, you'll need to be employed to learn on one of our apprenticeships, and your manager will need to authorise this (as it's your company who pay for the programme!) so please ensure you have their consent to enrol before you proceed.
