Lead Practitioners are responsible for contributing to, promoting and sustaining a values based culture at an operational level. They will be a coach and mentor to others and will have a role in assessing performance and quality of care delivery.

Key information

Who is it for?

For those who have achieved a level of self-development to be recognised as a lead practitioner within the care team.

Blended delivery

1-1 facilitated learning sessions with Lifetime Learning Coach, face-to-face and remote teaching, and self study via online learning platform - Aptem.

End point assessment

60 minute observation, and 90 minute professional discussion.

17 months + end point assessment

Please note, you'll need to be employed to learn on one of our apprenticeships, and your manager will need to authorise this (as it's your company who pay for the programme!) so please ensure you have their consent to enrol before you proceed.
